MISSION STATEMENT: We demonstrate the love of God as unified imitators of Christ by providing purpose, building discipleship connections and serving in community impact events. (1 Corinthians 13 & Ephesians 5:1)
OUR STORY
I received an invitation to serve at Ronald McDonald House (pre-COVD). In serving I began to follow a vision of providing meals monthly. Others came on board to expand it to inlcude all RMH hospitals in Houston, then spreading the love into other cities. We began to train in evangelism and go on outreaches after RMH. We expanded to provide discipleship to ladies, mens and prayer groups. Layers of Love is a nonprofit organization that leads community impact events, outreaches and service projects that demonstrate the love of Christ to community members. We provide non-denominational educational, biblical studies and Christ centered support while building connections within the body of Christ outside the walls of the church through leadership training, equipping, discipleship, freedom prayer and mentoring. Funding is sourced in cooperation with companies, churches, groups, organizations, individual donors, and grants.
